I am a Yoga Instructor (CIYT), Traditional Western Herbalist, and Reiki teacher offering private and group classes in State College, PA. All of these modalities offer support and self care tools for individuals of all walks of life.
I hold a BFA in dance from Temple University and have been studying movement since I was a young child. I first started doing yoga in 2010. In the summer of 2017 I traveled to India where I completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate from the International Society of Yoga and Meditation. The following year I decided I wanted to dedicate my yoga studies to Iyengar Yoga and began studying for Iyengar Yoga certification in the summer of 2018 and received that certification in the fall of 2022.
In 2015 I took a 400 hour Community Herbalism Intensive The Northeast School of Botanical Medicine with herbalist/botanist 7Song. After the course was over I went on to apprentice with him through 2017. Previous to this move I studied with Herbalist Susan Hess near Philadelphia, PA. In herbalism my interests lie specifically in how to incorporate herbal medicines easily into peoples lives, immune support for families, educating individuals about the plants that grow around them, and in the realm of sexual and reproductive health.
Reiki entered my life early in 2009 when I began studying at the Reiki School and Clinic in Philadelphia, PA. I holds a Reiki Master Practitioner certificate from The Reiki School and got my Reiki Master Teacher certificate through Learn Reiki Philadelphia in 2012. Since then I have taught all levels of Usui Shiki Ryoho, certified new teachers and worked with private clients. I also host Yoga and Reiki classes and community Reiki clinics.
