The Herbal Garden/Backyard Herbalism

This class is for anyone interested in what is growing under their feet outside. Even if you just have a few square feet in your yard chances are there are some medicinal plants growing right there! We will talk about these common backyard/neighborhood plants as well as how to cultivate some medicinal herbs at home wether you have a garden or just a few container options. We will specially be covering plants in the Northeastern US but the concepts  learned can be applied anywhere and many plants can grow in a variety of regions. Brief materia medica will be covered for the plants we talk about. Even though this class will be taking place online it will encourage some interactive time with plants as well as discussion and the opportunity for questions.
